TradeStox (“TradeStox”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a virtual stock-trading and learning application operated by Kedil Solutions Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the TradeStox mobile app and this website (together, the “Services”).
TradeStox is an educational, virtual-trading simulation. We are not a stockbroker, exchange, or financial institution, and we do not process real-money securities transactions. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details — such as your name, email address, phone number, and password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form).
- Profile information — an optional display name, avatar, and preferences.
- Support communications — messages you send us and the contents of those requests.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and activity data — virtual trades, watchlists, contest participation, and in-app interactions used to operate the simulation.
- Device & technical data — device model, operating system, app version, IP address, and crash diagnostics.
- Cookies & similar technologies — on our website, to remember preferences and measure performance.
Information from third parties
- Sign-in providers — if you choose to register using a third-party login (for example, Google), we receive basic profile information you authorise.
- App stores & payment processors — purchase confirmations for trade passes. We do not receive or store your full card or banking details; these are handled by the relevant app store.
3. How we use information
- To create and maintain your account and deliver the virtual-trading experience.
- To run contests, leaderboards, and reward features.
- To stream live market data and personalise your watchlists and analytics.
- To process trade-pass subscriptions and manage entitlements.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Services, including analytics and crash reporting.
- To send service-related notices and, where permitted, product updates you can opt out of.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms.
4. Legal basis & consent
Where applicable law requires it, we process your information on the basis of your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, as described in “Your rights & choices.”
5. When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in limited circumstances:
- Service providers — trusted vendors who host our infrastructure, deliver market data, process app-store payments, and provide analytics, bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Other users — your display name and contest performance may appear on public leaderboards.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or Kedil Solutions Pvt Ltd.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/WSS), token-based authentication, and access controls that limit who can view your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data and promptly address any vulnerabilities we identify.
8. Your rights & choices
- Access & portability — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete details from within the app or by contacting us.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Marketing opt-out — unsubscribe from promotional messages at any time.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent.

9. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
